Sarah Showfety is a stand-up comic, author and avid fan of not cooking. After many years working in NYC, she found herself a stay-at-home mom in the NJ suburbs, apologizing to her baby for her bad parenting moments.  Those jokes became her book Dear Baby: I'm Sorry...Apologies for Life's Little Parenting Fails.

Sarah combines razor-sharp writing and an inborn BS-detector to make audiences laugh on topics ranging from parenting and marriage to getting older and the perils of Costco.

Whether analyzing people's Starbucks orders or lamenting how her babysitter has a better life than she does, her unique brand of edgy observational comedy comes from universal topics everyone can identify with.

Sarah's work has been featured on The Doctors, The Lisa Oz Show, The Better Show, ABC News, BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post, Yahoo!, The New York Post, Psychology Today, Someecards, The Daily Mail and many more. An original 38 episode web series she wrote and produced called Pregnancy 411: Stuff You Need to Know if You Have a Fetus aired on NickMom.com (a Viacom company). Her Mom Problems video was viewed nearly 65,000 times on Facebook. Sarah was selected to perform in the 2017 Laughing Devil Comedy Festival and placed 3rd in the Winter Laughs Festival in New York City.
